The five requirements
Core training, live sessions, technology, community and the practitioner assessment, in detail.
Requirement 01
Complete the Core Training Content
You are required to attend or watch all core Lab training content replays, including:
- Week 1: Onboarding session + Q&A with IN TRUTH team (Nicole Gibson, Mandy, Zoë) (live)
- Week 1: Opening circle + intro to transformation + the nervous system / emotional intelligence, with Nicole Gibson (live)
- Week 1: Dr Olivia's Psychoneuroimmunology presentation (recording)
- Week 2: High performance protocols and understanding the domains of integrated health, with Nicole Gibson (live)
- Week 2: Data Unpack with IN TRUTH Head of Science Andy Heusser (+ Zoë) (live)
- Week 2: IN TRUTH Science Session with Andy Heusser (recording)
- Week 3: Rites of Passage and understanding change theory, polarities and how to balance them in your life + live group meditation, with Nicole Gibson (live)
- Week 3: Data Unpack with IN TRUTH Head of Science Andy Heusser (+ Zoë) (live)
- Week 4: Sharing circle + next steps for Alumni, with Nicole Gibson (live)
- Any required preparation material, including technology setup instructions
Bonus recordings, including Baback Amen and Oren Harris, are optional but highly recommended. If you cannot attend a live session, you are expected to watch the replay before the next live session wherever possible.
Requirement 02
Attend Key Live Sessions
This certification includes applied interpretation of nervous system data, and so we ask that participants attend at least two live sessions during the Lab.
At least one of these should be a data-focused session, either:
- Week 2: Data Unpack with Andy Heusser (+ Zoë)
- Week 3: Data Unpack with Andy Heusser (+ Zoë)
Live attendance matters because the certification is not only about consuming content. It is also about participating in discussion, asking questions, integrating the model and learning how to interpret data in context.
If you are unable to attend live due to timezone or unavoidable commitments, you may still be eligible for certification by watching the replay and submitting a written reflection or question related to the session.
Requirement 03
Engage Consistently With the IN TRUTH Technology
To be certified, you need to engage consistently with the IN TRUTH technology across the 30 days. This includes:
- Setting up your wearable and IN TRUTH app before the Lab begins
- Wearing your device consistently throughout the immersion
- Checking your Emotion Score and nervous system data regularly (daily)
- Bringing your observations, questions and patterns into the Lab experience
- Completing enough data collection for your data to be meaningfully interpreted
The certification is based on lived experience with the technology, not theory alone.
Requirement 04
Participate in the Lab Community
Participants are expected to demonstrate a basic level of engagement throughout the Lab. This can include:
- Asking questions during live sessions
- Sharing reflections in the community
- Commenting on your own data patterns
- Sharing what you notice as you test different protocols
- Responding to prompts or integration questions
- Bringing thoughtful questions to the data unpack sessions
As a guide, we ask each certification participant to contribute at least two meaningful reflections, questions or data observations during the Lab.
This helps us know that you are actively integrating the methodology rather than passively moving through the content.
Requirement 05
Complete the Practitioner Assessment
At the end of the Lab, you will complete a short applied assessment. This is designed to ensure you can demonstrate a clear understanding of the IN TRUTH methodology and interpret nervous system data responsibly.
The assessment may include:
- A short knowledge check on the IN TRUTH scientific model
- Questions about the Emotion Score, Capacity, Reactivity and Rebound
- A brief data interpretation exercise using a sample pattern or case study
- A personal reflection on what you learned through your own 30-day data
- Questions about how you would apply the methodology ethically in a practitioner setting
The purpose of the assessment is to confirm that certification reflects demonstrated understanding, not attendance alone.
